Southern Regional College hosted its first Student Recognition Awards Ceremony at the Armagh Campus
Over 80 students received awards for their contributions to sports and skills competitions throughout the year. Among the award winners were SRC Ladies Hockey Team, SRC Ladies Soccer Team, SRC Volleyball Teams, SRC Gaelic Team, SRC Culinary Team and SRC Food Service Team.
There were also a number of individual awards presented to those involved in charity or voluntary work and a number of other students who succeeded in competitions such as Skillbuild, Essential Skills Awards and Apprentice of the Year Awards.
Commenting after the event, Mr Brian Doran, Chief Executive of SRC remarked: “The list of achievements today was nothing short of impressive and highlighted the success the College has had on both the national and international stage”.
